Post Date:09/30/2017 9:00 PM

The Appomattox County Board of Supervisors has officially joined other localities across the nation by proclaiming October to be Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

The public is cordially invited to attend a Candlelight Vigil to be held in honor and in memory of those that have suffered, those that have died, and those that continue the struggle.  The vigil will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in Legacy Hall of Memorial United Methodist Church, Appomattox.  Please plan to attend to show your support for the victims of domestic violence.
