Virginia State Parks
Visit one of our three states parks in the area. Holliday Lake, James River or the new High Bridge Trail State Park. All three of the parks offer unique programs for families every month such as hiking, biking, horseback riding, canoe trips, bluegrass music festivals & much more. Appomattox Courthouse Theatre

Appomattox Friday Cheerz
Bring your lawn chair and enjoy live music and food from 5:30 - 9:00 p.m. in Abbitt Park located next to the Library. Cheerz events will start in April 2017 and run through the summer. Visit www.appomattoxchamber.org for more information and a list of the bands that will perform.
Appomattox Bluegrass Concert Series
The Appomattox County High School Band Booster's Club will hold it's annual Bluegrass Concert Series again this Spring 2017. Plan to enjoy each concert at the Appomattox County High School on Sundays at 2:00 p.m. Dailey & Vincent will perform March 5, The Boxcars, March 19, Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out, March 26, & the Gibson Brothers, April 9. First Saturday Market Day
Come out & support the new local APX Market in Appomattox at 1848 Church Street. The market will be open March 4 & April 1, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The market consists of local vendors selling their goods. Appomattox Vintage & Artisan Spring Market

152nd Civil War Anniversary - April 7 - 9, 2017
The Appomattox 1865 Foundation is in partnership with Appomattox Inn & Suites, Appomattox Court House National Historical Park & the American Civil War Museum to present this special opportunity for visitors to commemorate the 152nd Anniversary of the surrender of General Lee's Army of Northern Virginia at the Appomattox Court House. For only the seventh time since 1865, the surrender anniversary will fall on Palm Sunday, just as it did 152 years ago. On this special occasion, the National Park will present "real time" programs & demonstrations at the very same time those events occurred on Sunday, April 9, 1865. Wolfbane Theatrical Productions
Wolfbane Productions is a company of passionate professional artist dedicated to providing live entertainment experiences, cultural events & theatrical productions bridging the greater Appomattox area to New York City artist.
